My caregiver is wonderful, caring, and very hardworking. She has been with me for about 2-1/2 years. Her being here helps me both physically and mentally. I hope she never leaves. Everyone should be as caring as she is. She's special.

My wife is a client of Home Instead. The caregivers give her good care and they're here to see when she has to go to the bathroom or something like that and take care of that. They do housecleaning and they do whatever she needs is done. They don't give any meds. There isn't any med that she takes during the time that they're here. They make sure that if she has to go to the bathroom, she's clean and everything like that. They come from 1:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon and we have dinner at noon and I get supper after they leave. They don't do meals, but it's very important that they be here because there are things that I have to do. We're on a farm, so there are things that I have to do on the farm. I can't really leave my wife and so it's very important that somebody is here, so that I can do some of these other things that I need to get done. They communicate with me and they know that if I'm not available, they can talk to our daughter who is 200 miles away.

Mom really enjoys being with Cathie, she helps mom with her needs. Cathie makes my mom walk the hall which she needs to do. But overall, the aides are all great with her.

My dad wants to say, we love Rachel! She is so personable, but also very professional. She makes my dad feel very at ease. We are starting to feel like she is becoming family. She just knows exactly what to do and like I said, puts my fears at ease and also my dad.

I'm using Home Instead and most of my caregivers are very good at what they do. I've had quite a few of them, and they have all done quite well. Most of them are knowledgeable, and I've had 34 or 35 different ones. I've been using them since November 2020.

Tammy has been a big help. She has been a good homecare caregiver. I can't say anything bad about her. She is great. I don't know how I could have made it without her. She doesn't work there anymore. I quit using Home Instead Senior Care. I don't really need help anymore. They're all great people that I've ever met in my life. They're great. The billing was all great.

Slightly unhandy to have no communication outside of home, but it works. Jennifer has become a dear friend. We love her dearly and looked forward to seeing more of her. However, Wilbur is recovering from pneumonia in hospital and will enter care home.

Kim and Debbie were a wonderful team coordinating their work to keep the house well-maintained, cook meals and help with Marion's personal hygiene. They enabled him to stay in his home where he most wanted to be. My father-in-law was in their care the last 2 years prior to his death. My mom also had great help from Home Instead.

I have really appreciated the genuine care for my Mom with Alzheimer's. Even though Mom doesn't understand or carry on conversations they treat her and talk with her like she can. They have gone above and beyond to provide services when we needed them. As a nurse I am pretty particular about my moms care. Home Instead has proven their abilities and have helped me trust that they are giving her the best care when I can't be there!

I was very satisfied with the care my Mom received from her caregivers. I always had good communication with them. My weekly visits I would leave a note for the caregivers about doing this or that for mom. Not once did I get the impression they felt I was coming off as a "Bossy Daughter". I really appreciated receiving a text every Tuesday with a list of supplies for mom. That helped me a lot. I will always be thankful that Home Instead caregivers helped me keep my mom in her own home as long as we could.

The care that my mom received was awesome. They always tried to work with my schedule so I could keep my job during the day. If there was a care provider that my mom clashed with, they found someone else. That only happened once. We were very pleased how they cooked, cleaned and exercised my mom. They helped with bathing and read to her. All in all, I give them an A+.

Home Instead is doing an excellent job. We're very happy with them. Mom is 88. They help her clean the house, the nooks and crannies, they help her run loads of laundry because it's downstairs. They've been very personable. Joan, from the office, is always available when I have questions. They do have a little extra touch and they always have time to talk if I have a concern.

Advanced training on understanding senior illnesses and conditions, depression in seniors, caregiver stress, in-home exercise for older adults, making mealtime fun, communication tips with the senior, their family, and the caregiver's franchise office.
Activity training including reminiscing activities, modifying activities, activities in facilities, adapting activities for those with impairments, different types of engaging activities for older adults such as gardening, mind builders, and crafts and hobbies, and getting a senior involved in the community in places like senior centers, worship services, volunteering and errands.
